"Voices for Heshima" at CVR on August 17th

By respecting the rights of the children, restoring dignity to communities and honouring family values, Heshima is an organization that wishes to uplift, stabilize and strengthen communities through the empowerment of invisible youth who determine the future of the nation.
Heshima means 'respect, dignity and honour' in one of the local languages in Kenya; Kiswahili.
Their main focus is on Education because knowledge is power which translates to the empowerment of the youth which leads to the transformation of the family, the community, the nation and the world.
On Saturday, August 17th, Heshima will be presenting two shows at CVR filled with entertaining acts to raise awareness and raise funds for a great cause. Tickets are on sale at the door or in advance. Click on the photo for contact information and show times.

CVR Hosts Their First Mini WE Day

Fueled by the desire for change, and the hope that the world can be a better place, We Day is the call that brings a generation together.
More than just one day of celebration and inspiration, Free The Children’s We Day is youth leading local and global change.
CVR invited several elementary schools to inspire them to make a change in our world and educate them of the world around us.
